Job Title: Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN)
Location: Fishguard Veterinary Services, Pembrokeshire
Position: Permanent | Full-Time (4 days / approx. 38 hours)
Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum (DOE)

Fishguard Vets is a proudly independent, family-owned practice set in beautiful coastal Pembrokeshire. Operating from our modern, purpose-built facility, our team includes 7 vets, 7 nurses, 3 part-time TB testers, and 4 dedicated office staff. We combine high clinical standards with a supportive, community-first approach, creating a welcoming environment where our nursing team is empowered to use their full clinical skill set every day.
The Role & Rota

Hours: 4-day working week (approx. 38 hours per week, 8:15am to 6:00pm).

Weekends: Saturday morning shift on a shared rota, 2 working followed by 4 off.

Duties: A rewarding, varied mix of surgical nursing, anaesthesia monitoring, inpatient care, diagnostics, and running nurse-led clinics.

Equipment & Facilities: Purpose-built practice featuring dedicated surgical suites, in-house laboratory, digital X-ray, and ultrasound equipment.

Salary: £28K – £35K depending on experience.

Fees Paid: VDS annual membership fees covered.

Holiday Allowance: 28 days / 5.6 weeks pro-rata per year (inclusive of bank holidays), calculated in hours to reflect the weekend rota.
